Craig Andrew Robertson is an award-winning filmmaker with over fifteen years of experience across short fiction, feature film, and post-production. Driven by the philosophy, “I want to make the kind of art I’d want to see,” Craig’s work is characterized by a deep-seated passion for cinema.

  • The Thistle in the Kiss (2025): His directorial feature film debut, where he served as director, screenwriter, and actor.
  • Baxter Hammond P.I. (2025): Craig won Best Editor at the 2026 Dragonfly International Film Festival.
  • Last House on CCTV (2020): Winner of the Audience Choice Award at the 2021 Scottish Short Film Festival. The film also garnered nominations for Best Director, Editor, and Sound.
  • Sam (2016): Awarded Best Live-Action Film (16–19 category) at the Scottish Youth Film Festival.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Beyond his independent projects, Craig has contributed to major industry productions and educational initiatives:

  • Post-Production & VFX: Extensive experience in editorial departments for projects such as Solstice (2020), Fight the Tower (2021), and Katie’s Post-Apocalyptic Vlog (2020).
  • The Acolyte (Disney+): Worked as a trainee on the high-profile series.
  • Young Film Academy: Taught film at Magma Pictures’ academy in London, sharing his expertise with the next generation of creators.
